tarnished trophy.

"Don't you, ever, get too, comfortable" -babyface.

The love is in the air. The relationship is even stronger. And after all the bullshit from the past year or so, you guys are still together. But one circumstance that lies in a mans mind while with his lady over an extended period of time is her dress code. Now you (ladies) are comfortable in the relationship. Paying no mind to it, I notice ladies feel as though they don't as much effort into there outer appearance as the relationship goes on. Meaning, the heels are only for club use now and the freekum dress is only pulled out for one of your girlfriend's birthdays. Therefore, it leaves us (men) going out on dates with women in wifebeaters, baby tees & sweats. Now I am not asking you to put on a sundress and pumps when going to Wal-Mart, but just take into account that when out with your man man, you are his trophy, his star and his sun. So why not let that sun shine? In black love, all we have is each other, so why not treat me like its the first date and make my mind wonder?

love-peace&hairgrease.

You are right, and it's good to be reminded that you all still care about that stuff. but there are a couple of things.

1. Sometime in a relationship a man gets compfortable too and stops complimenting his girl on her outer appearance...that could make the girl lose motivation, or make her think that you dont care...you know? Having a man that reminds me of how beautiful I look daily, makes me want to keep looking beautiful for him.

2. You also have the type thats like "baby, you look good in w/e you put on..." So im like true, white-t and jeans it is. lol (not all the time tho)

Not saying that they are good excuses, but they could still be good explanations for the behavior...good post tho.
